Thus the Old Port sees the coexistence of a multitude of users: trade, professional fishing, passenger transport, commercial leisure activities, diving school, permanent and seasonal institutions, land-based commercial activity. The total surface area of the granted water body of the old port is around 2.65 ha, that of the concession area 4.45 ha. In addition, this port has the particularity of being on the west bank, with the mouth of the coastal river of the Garonne.
