This Jeanneau 54DS was originally owned by Architect Vittorio Garroni, the official designer of this Jeanneau 54DS, who meticulously followed its construction and furnished it with every possible option. In June 2007 Lorenzo Camillo took over the leasing contract with SGB France and became official owner in July 2013, together with wife. The boat was never chartered and sailed 80% of the time with only husband and wife aboard. From their home port in Porto Cervo, Sardinia, they sailed extensively in the Mediterranean, ranging from Turkey to Gibraltar, including an Atlantic crossing to the Caribbean with ARC and returning independently. They have maintained the boat with loving care and attention to details, adding improvements and equipment for comfort and safety. The Jeanneau 54DS is a magnificent and most comfortable and safe boat to sail in any weather condition. She is an eye-catcher, with her elegant Italian lines, often complimented by passers-by, queen of many anchorages. After passing from French flag, to Dutch flag, in 2019 this Jeanneau 54DS was registered in Melbourne Australia. As the European VAT was fully paid in France the vessel may again be registered in a European country, should the new owner wish to do so.
